Tilburg has several good places to stay. These are our recommendations for location, facilities and character. Auberge Du Bonheur, just outside the city, is our first choice. Stadsslaperij B&B offers a comfortable stay in town, while Hostel Roots is a good option if you want to spend less. Book early, as these places have a limited number of rooms. All three can also serve as a base for a trip to the Efteling.

Tilburg is known for its “Brabantse gezelligheid,” which translates to warm hospitality and great food, not always the standard in Dutch gastronomy, sorry.
